Create Presence, Pleasure, and Connection With Your New Intimacy Coach

Intimacy Coach Kamala Chambers

Do you long for a deeper connection and wish your relationship was more fulfilling?

I can relate.

I always felt like something was missing and that there was some ideal way to connect with a partner… An ultimate way to love and be loved by another.

As a young seeker, I set out to find what I was looking for. By the time I was 18, I had hitchhiked across the US, Canada, and Europe, hungry to find passion and feel wanted by another.

I jumped from relationship to relationship, desperate to find that sense of belonging and connection I knew was out there.

I’ve learned that if we don’t fully love ourselves, we’ll bounce from relationship to relationship, desperate to feel loved while sacrificing ourselves along the way.

And it led me to pile up wellness certifications. Maybe if I could help others, I could finally help myself. By age 21, I was a lead instructor at a wellness institute, training people twice my age.

I collected mentors and modalities like coins.

If I learned, loved, healed, helped, and researched enough, that sense of belonging would magically appear.

But it didn’t.

For over a decade, I devoted my life to learning how to bring wholeness to myself and others.

That desperation eventually led me to live in a cult where I experienced sexual, psychological, and emotional abuse.

When I met Luis, my now husband, he helped me to see that I wasn’t broken.

What I had been subjecting myself to in order to heal was the very thing that was breaking me.

Within months of falling in love, we bought a one-way ticket to Thailand. We traveled for months on end, all while combining our skills and co-founding Lasting Love Connection.

As I healed from the cult-inflicted trauma, I suffered intense panic attacks. All the work I did to become a better person and to help others left me more broken than ever.

It wasn’t until I started to view my anxiety as a barometer that things start to shift. The anxiety told me that my inner knowing conflicted with what others were trying to convince me was true.

The path to true healing wasn’t about trying to be the best version of myself or helping others be the best version of themselves but rather being okay with who I am right now.

And I bring that acceptance to my clients. When I work with couples, it’s not about who is right or how to perform the best in relationships.

Instead, intimacy coaching is about how fully you can accept your partner for who they are in each moment.

You will never be perfect.

Your partner will never be ideal.

But something unimaginable happens when you bring radical acceptance to yourself and your relationship.

Yes, you’ll still have needs and desires.

The trick is communicating those needs so your partner can finally hear you, feel you, see you, and understand you.

As an intimacy coach, my work is designed to help you understand the roadblocks to self-love and have the tools for the connection you desire.

That is my ultimate goal in walking alongside you on your journey…

Inviting you both to show up for each other and yourselves and navigating how to do that when…

your nervous system is hijacked…

one of you shuts down or checks out…

you have an argument and can’t stand each other…

you get triggered during sex…

and everything in between.

From that presence, there is no limit to the pleasure you can feel.

There is no limit to what you and your partner can achieve together.

A great partnership should bring out the best version of you.

Kamala And Luis

My favorite thing about my marriage is our ability to enhance each other’s gifts to achieve exceptionally more than we could on our own.

And I want that for you.

That is the intimate work I bring to my clients.

As an intimacy coach, it’s not just how to have more pleasure or better sex (which happens.)

Intimacy is how you enhance each other’s gifts so you’re living the best life possible.

Every gift has a weakness and vice versa.

What typically happens in relationships is instead of seeing the gifts, we see the weakness.

For example, Luis is impulsive, a dreamer, and a creative thinker. It makes him disorganized (which honestly can really bother me), but it also makes him unafraid to take risks and huge leaps.

I’m structured, strategic, and linear, which makes me too rigid sometimes. But it also makes it so I can take those big lofty dreams Luis comes up with and put them into an action plan.

We could (and have) torn each other down with these differences, but when we bring those differences together, we build our dream life.

Together we’ve built two successful businesses, interviewed all our heroes, been featured in major publications and stages like TEDx, published 4 relationship books and 2 marriage courses, and bought a developed raw land where we built our own home and grow our own food.

We accomplished so much before the age of 40 because of our differences.

People often reach out for intimacy coaching because their differences drive them apart.

Part of our work together is in helping you find the superpower in each other’s differences and use those gifts to have a better relationship and a happier and more fulfilling life.

It’s time to have the passion and closeness you’ve been craving.

LET’S CHAT.

What does an intimacy coach do?

An intimacy coach works with clients to help them create deeper relationships.

An intimacy coach will guide you to:

  • Heal attachment wounds.
  • Cultivate more presence moment by moment.
  • Discover embodiment practices that allow you to release trauma and stuck emotion from the body.
  • Develop emotional awareness and the ability to identify your feelings.
  • Learn to express your feelings, sexual needs, and boundaries to your partner.

What are the benefits of an intimacy coach?

An intimacy coach supports you in your growth journey as you establish deeper relationships with yourself and others.

Many people are disconnected from their bodies, sensations, and emotional world.

They have spent their lives pushing away their feelings and looking outside themselves for what they feel is missing.

However, when you disconnect from yourself, you cannot have true intimacy with another person.

During an intimacy coaching session, your coach will teach you to tune into the present moment.

The more you practice mindful awareness, the more grounded you’ll be in interactions with your partner.

Additionally, in an intimacy coaching session, a coach will work with clients on developing the skills to communicate their sexual needs.

Cultural shame around sexuality makes many people hesitant to talk about their sexual desires.

Through working with an intimacy coach, people learn to overcome fear and become more confident in discussing their sexual needs and desires.

What happens in an intimacy coaching session?

With the right relationship coaches, sex coaches, or intimacy coaches, you’ll have the opportunity to not only air out your struggles as a couple. You’ll also be able to identify and work towards your relationship goals.

In each intimacy coaching session, you’ll create a more intimate understanding of the person you love and strengthen emotional intimacy.

Not only will you deepen your emotional awareness of each other, but you’ll also discover it’s easier to have an authentic connection.

Intimacy coaching sessions take place via video chat like Zoom or FaceTime. With our cameras on, this creates a unique space where you can have support from the comfort of your own home.

An intimacy coaching session lasts between 50 and 90 minutes, depending on your needs. As your intimacy coach, my goal is to give you the time you need in each session.

It’s essential that you feel safe to express vulnerability in every session.

Is intimacy coaching the same as sex coaching?

No.

Both intimacy coaching and sex coaching are types of life coaching.

An intimacy coach and a sex coach help clients improve their personal relationships.

However, sex coaches address issues directly related to sexual intimacy, such as sexual dysfunctions or low libido.

For instance, a sex coach may teach you how to practice sensual touch.

Over the course of sex coaching sessions, clients receive guidance as they work to improve their sex life.

On the other hand, intimacy coaching is a clothes-on holistic approach to deeper intimacy. Sex is an aspect of intimacy, but it’s not the sole focus when you work with an intimacy coach.

Intimacy coaches consider the many factors that affect your ability to be present with your partner.

Over the course of intimacy coaching sessions, an intimacy coach helps you identify what is standing in the way of true intimacy with your partner.

For example, maybe attachment wounds make it difficult for you to feel safe in intimate relationships.

An intimacy coach helps you understand your emotional needs and express your truth to your partner.

What is the difference between a relationship coach and an intimacy coach?

A relationship coach helps couples navigate relationship issues.

In a relationship coaching session, couples develop the tools required for an intimate relationship, such as healthy communication skills.

A relationship coach provides support and guidance as couples move toward their relationship goals (such as fewer arguments or more physical intimacy).

On the other hand, an intimacy coach is a type of relationship coach that focuses specifically on the connection between two partners.

In an intimacy coaching session, the goal is to help people learn to connect with themselves and generate more aliveness in their relationships.

An intimacy coach will teach you to practice presence moment by moment and stay connected with your partner, even in times of conflict.

I am a relationship coach who specializes in intimacy coaching.

Can I work with Kamala without my partner?

Yes. I also offer coaching programs to individuals who want to better understand the disconnect they feel with themselves or others.

Often, individuals hire me to feel more confident, sexually vibrant, strengthen boundaries, feel better in their body, and get crystal clear on their needs and wants for their intimate life.

Does intimacy coaching work?

Intimacy coaching will assist you on your journey of creating a stronger relationship with yourself and others.

Every couple who has worked with me has seen positive changes in their relationships.

  • Freedom to express sexuality and explore all-new levels of sexual intimacy.

What makes Kamala more qualified than other intimacy coaches?

Couples and individuals hire me to feel the love and connection they’re missing.

I pull from my unique background working in the field of emotional, physical, and mental health and as a relationship researcher for more than 20 years.

My training started in vibrational medicine, where I specialized in energetic dynamics between couples. I draw from this unique experience and understanding of the more subtle effects the nervous system and body language have on communication. And was a lead instructor for this work.

I gained further certifications at the largest coaching institute in the world, and they hired me as one of their primer coaches and a curriculum developer.

I gained more certifications at another coaching institute where I was their Education Director and developed their mental wellness coach certification program.

I’ve also trained with the leading relationship experts in the world, including Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, and Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks.

If you want to feel closer, reconnect, and deepen your passion, I can help.

How do we start working with Kamala Chambers as our intimacy coach?

I’m committed to you and your partner having a lasting change in your relationship. Because of that, I don’t offer one-time sessions.

Change takes time. Working with me is a commitment to change and is done via the Intimacy Program.

I limit the number of clients I see, so I have the capacity to fully support you for the duration of your journey.

1. You can book a complimentary couples consultation where we’ll have a chance to meet and see if it’s the right fit to work together. This is also an opportunity to get your questions answered about the Intimacy Program.

2. Or you can save your spot in the Intimacy Program by enrolling and booking your first session.
